NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Yardling trackmen overwhelmed Huntington School, 52 to 7, yesterday at Briggs Cage.

The freshmen swept the dash, which Pat Liles won in 4.7. Art Hoyte was the victor in the 300, while Art Cahn won the 600 in 1:19 flat. Eddie Martin took the mile in 4:36.

Jeff Taley tossed the shot 49 feet, 7 inches to win that event. The team composed of Art White, Bob Will, Pat Liles, and Art Cahn won the mile relay. In the 1000, Dave Call was the victor, running the distance in 2:32.

Next Saturday the team travels to New Haven for a triangular meet with Yale and Princeton. Coach Stowell says that the match will probably be the closest of the season.
