Use of the student ticket book in gaining admission to winter athletic contests varies with the location of the event, Donald M. Felt, Assistant Director of Athletics, explained yesterday.
Felt said that when a game is being played on University property the book functions as an undergraduate pass. When the contest takes place in a non-University facility, such as the Boston Arena, the book serves as an option to buy regular seats at a reduced price.
Undergraduates will be admitted to events held at the I.A.B. or Watson Rink upon presentation of the coupon book itself. Guest tickets may be purchased at the door for I.A.B. meets. However, undergraduates must apply in advance at the H.A.A. to reserve guest seats at Watson Rink.
To purchase reduced-price tickets for varsity hockey games at the Boston Arena students must personally submit their coupon books at the H.A.A. office. Adjoining guest tickets may be purchased at the H.A.A.
Tickets for Saturday's hockey game with B.U. at the Arena are available today.
