The varsity squash team will oppose a weak M.I.T. squad this afternoon at Hemenway, and will undoubtedly gain its third win of the season. M.I.T. has rarely ever been able to provide opposition for the varsity past the first singles position. This year is no exception.
After the Crimson's win last Saturday over Army, 8 to 1, the prospects of an undefeated season have brightened considerably. This match will be mere formality for the varsity, which is looking forward to its important matches with Navy, Yale, and Princeton after vacation.
The Crimson lineup will have captain Larry Sears at first singles. Sears looked good against Army and should have little difficulty with his Tech opponent. Following Sears at second through ninth singles will be Charlie Hamm, Gerry Emmet, Henry Cortesi, Pete Lund, Charlie Poletti, Ed Wadsworth, John Davis, and Fred Vinton.
