Crimson forward Tom Bernhei tied for the Ivy League scoring leadership as a result of Pennsylvania's 1-0 shutout of Cornell last Thursday. Final results show that Bernheim tallied five goals in six league games, as did Bert Stratta of Cornell and Tom Baskett of Princeton.
The Star inside left registered his first goal against Dartmouth, then scored both Harvard goals against Penn and counted one goal in each of the final two games against Brown and Yale.
Ken McIntosh tied for seventh place among Ivy League scorers by netting three goals. The Crimson right wing scored the winning goal against Brown and counted against Dartmouth and Yale.
Crimson goalies Jim Perkins and Tom Bagnoli scored three shutouts during the season, but the team finished third in the league in defense, while Harvard's shooters ended behind Penn and Princeton in goals scored.
The opening game tie with Cornell denied Harvard a tie for the Ivy title as Princeton took top honors. Penn's late season surge carried it past fourth place Cornell, while Brown, Yale and Dartmouth brought up the rear.
