Demolition to Begin Today

The long-awaited Rogers Block demolition will begin this afternoon at 4 p.m. Mayor Edward J. Sullivan will lead a motorcade to the site where he and other officials will take part in a ceremony marking the beginning of the project.

President Pusey, who has been active in Cambridge urban renewal planning, will appear on WGBH-TV at 6:50 p.m. along with Harding U. Greene, vice-president of the Cambridge Electric Co.
