Power failures put nearly half of the Radcliffe dorms in the dark last night. Briggs, Barnard, Bertram, and four of the off-campus houses suffered complete black-outs at 5:20 and numerous other times during the evening.
Ralph B. Gates, Radcliffe Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds, said electric company repairmen are investigating the problem. The power failures, which have occurred since October 21, are attributed to an overload of watts.
