Dr. Carl Kaysen, an authority on business organization, competition, and monopoly, has been appointed professor of Economics.
An associate professor since 1955, Kaysen is now making a pioneer study on the complexity of modern business firms. He has also studied monopoly and competition, and has advised the Department of Justice on anti-trust legislation. Kaysen served as an intelligence officer during the Second World War.
