Two University faculty members have won citations from the Argentine government for "scientific and humanitarian collaboration" during the 1956 polio epidemic in Argentina.
The Argentine Ministry of Social Assistance and Public Health awarded the citations to James L. Whittenberger, professor of Physiology, and Benjamin G. Ferris '40, assistant professor of Physiology.
