The Freshman Union Committee decided last night to sponsor a dance during the Princeton weekend. It was the Union Committee's first meeting of the year.
Joseph K. Hurd '60, chairman of last year's Committee, first outlined the group's functions and executive composition to the twenty-eight members. Richard Ravel '53, secretary of the Union, then spoke briefly to the Yardling representatives on their work.
In preparation for the upcoming dance, the group divided itself into eight sub-committees. At the next meeting of the entire group, the sub-committees will report with tentative plans.
