Lowell Elected Head Of Overseers' Board

Ralph Lowell '12 was elected President of the Board of Overseers yesterday at the Board's first meeting of the fall. He succeeds Judge Charles E. Wyzanski, Jr. '27, of the U.S. District Court.

Lowell, president of the Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company and of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, is also a trustee of the Lowell Institute, an organization for promoting adult education in Greater Boston.

He has served on many Harvard committees, and is currently chairman of the Overseers' Visiting Committees for the Business School, the Medical School, and the Peabody Museum. Lowell is a cousin of President Lowell.
