M.I.T. students seem to have "cracked" under the strain of exams, pleaded an attorney representing two students recently arrested for snowballing firemen.
The pair were part of a gang of 25 who snowballed firefighters at a recent blaze near the M.I.T. campus. To make matters worse, their snowballs knocked off a fire chief's hat and hit an aide in the eye.
The boys were arrested and arraigned in Roxbury District Court, where their attorney pleaded "they were all keyed up after cramming for examinations." The judge did not agree, and sentenced the snowballers to a year of probation.
