The warmer mid-20-degree weather brought in by a snow-bearing low pressure system should not last long. By late Friday or Saturday, temperatures will have once again sunk to near zero depth.

The Weather Bureau does not know how long Cambridge will be cold. It is fairly sure, however, that temperatures will average six degrees below the seasonal norm for at least the next five days.
