Truman Will Speak In Kresge Tonight

Former President Harry S. Truman will speak to a capacity crowd tonight in MIT's Kresge Auditorium on the topic of "The Office of the Presidency." Truman's address is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:15 p.m.

Officials of the Law School Forum, co-sponsor of the speech with the MIT Lecture Series, said that there are no more seats available in the large lecture room--the only auditorium in which Truman may be seen speaking. They did say, however, that there may be some room in the smaller lecture room downstairs where Truman's speech will be played over an amplifier.

In contradiction of an earlier report, there will be no panelists to question Truman, and there will be no questions, allowed from the floor.

WHRB announced last night that it will pick up the speech from 8:30 until 9:30.

Attorney General Herbert Brownell will speak a week from Friday at M.I.T. on the topic, "Election Issues, 1956."
