A new composition by Kirke Mecham '56 called Rules of Behavior and illustrating how children should act when walking to church will be one of the featured works in the Summer School Chorus's annual concert, to be given next Monday, August 13, at 8:30 p.m., in Sanders Theatre.
The concert, which is free, will also include choruses from Acis and Galatea by Handel, Flos Campi by Vaughan Williams, and Tirsi and Clori (Ballo Concertato) by Monteverdi. Selections from Rennaisance madrigals and contemporary American music will also be sung. The chorus will be conducted by Professor Harold C. Schmidt of Stanford.
Soloists for the concert are Jean Lunn '55, Sara-Jane Smith '55, Antonio Giarraputo '50, Jean Comstock, and Dr. Putnam Aldrich, harpsichordist.
