The second Paine Hall music concert of the summer, a program of chamber music, will take place next Tuesday, July 31, at 8:30 p.m.
The public is invited, and there is no admission.
The concert will include works by Handel, Rameau, Isaac, Ortiz, and Byrd. Some of the selections to be played are Praeludium, Si dormiero, Troisieme concert en trio, and Recercada sobre la.
Authentic Renaissance and Baroque instruments will perform the works of these composers. Performers for the concert are Daniel Heartz, harpsichord and Renaissance lute; Phyllis Olson, tenor and bass viola da gamba; and Howard Brown '51, cross flute and recorders.
