Beer Will Begin Lecture Series; Public Is Invited

The Summer School will again this year sponsor an afternoon series open to the public without charge. Samuel H. Beer, professor of Government at Harvard, will initiate the program on Thursday, July 12.

On succeeding Thursday afternoons the speakers will be: Robert G. McCloskey, associate professor of Government at Harvard (July 19); Joseph C. Palamountain, associate professor of Government at Wesleyan (July 26); Denis Johnston, professor of English at Mount Holyoke (August 2); and, to conclude the series, Glen Haydon, Kenan Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina, on August 9.
