Dr. Russel H. Patterson will be President of the Harvard Medical School Alumni Association next year.
Patterson, a member of the Medical School Class of 1918, was chosen yesterday at the annual Alumni Day ceremonies of the Medical School. At present Clinical Professor of Surgery at Cornell, he succeeds Dr. George P. Denny of Boston.
The Association also announced the retirement of Dr. John P. Merrill as editor of the Medical Alumni Bulletin.
