Charles P. Segal '57 won the undergraduate award for the best translation into Latin, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences announced. David B. Shillman received the honorable mention award.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences also awarded the new David J. Robbins Prize to Allan R. Robinson, 2G. The prize, of $300, is to "provide the recipient with the means for cultural activities and recreation."

The Department of Chemistry rewarded prizes of from "$40 to $100 for excellence in teaching during the current year to: J.J. Cawley, M. Cher, B. G. Christensen, D. G. Davis, Jr., H. D. Kaesz, G. J. Karabatos, R. Salovey, L. L. Williams, and Miss Ching Yuan.
