At the opening of the Arts Festival, "Expressions," at the International Student Center yesterday, Robert F. Bradford '23 (above) a former President of the Center's Board of Directors, received a scroll honoring him for his work, from Mrs. Myron A. Hofer and Teodoro Abueva, co-chairman of the festival.
Contemporary painting, jewelry, photography, and sculpture by foreign students in the New England area will be exhibited from 2 until 10 p.m. every day during the ten day festival. This is the first year that the festival has exhibited contemporary art.
A program tonight of international folksongs and dances will open a series of events ending next Sunday with an Art Forum. There will be a series of art and craft demonstrations such as glass blowing, caligraphy, and Japanese flower arrangement, tomorrow afternoon followed by a carnival featuring Haitian and Flamenco music at 8:30 p.m.
