The Faculty of Arts and Sciences announced yesterday that Raimundo Lida, professor of Romance Languages and Literatures, will be chairman of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures next year. He will take office on July 1.
Lida will replace Herbert Dieckmann, professor of Romance Languages and Literatures, present holder of the post. Both Dieckmann and Lida hold an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University.
