Dean Bundy announced yesterday the appointment of nine assistant professors and two museum curators to the University's staff.
Six departments will receive the new assistant professors. Edward O. Wilson, Junior Fellow at the University, will teach in the Biology Department.
In Engineering Sciences there are three appointees, Richard S. Davis, metallurgy; William Paul, semi-conductor physics; and Werner Strumm, sanitary engineering.
Egon Schwartz, a Viennese who lived and studied for ten years in Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador, will join the German department and specialize in the relationship between German and Spanish literature.
Scheduled to teach Soviet politics for the Government department is Zbigniew K. Brezezinski, the author of The Permanent Purge, a study of Russian political tactics.
Ernest E. Williams, assistant professor of Zoology, has been named Curator of Reptiles and Amphibians at the Museum of Comparative Zoology.
