Professor Connects Cancer to Cigarettes

Studies in 14 different countries have all shown a clear-cut association between smoking and lung cancer, David D. Rutstein '30, professor of Preventive Medicine, reported last night.

"There are no studies which fail to show relationship between the two--cigarette smokers have more lung cancer than non-smokers. The more they smoke, the greater their risk of getting this serious disease."
