John F. Enders, associate professor of Bacteriology and Immunology, has been promoted to full professor, Dr. George P. Berry, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, announced last night.

Enders was a co-winner of the 1954 Nobel Prize in Medicine for discovering that polio virus would grow in human tissue cultures.
