In a debate tonight sponsored by the Student Council, Mark DeWolfe Howe, professor of Law, and Dr. Russell Kirk will discuss the topic, "Academic Freedom: The Idea and the Reality." The meeting at 8 p.m. in New Lecture Hall, is free and open to the public.
Kirk is author of the book, "The Conservative Mind."
