Hockey Coach Weiland Says B.C. Can Do Well in NCAA

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Hockey coach Cooney Weiland said yesterday that Boston College will do well this year in the Colorado Springs NCAA hockey championship on March 15-17. They may even win the tournament for the second time, he added.

"Although they'll be running up against tough competition, they are capable of rising to the occasion," he said.

The B.C. hockey team has a 13-5 season record. They have played in the NCAA hockey championship five times, and won it in 1949, beating Dartmouth in the finals.
