SGA Asks Foreign Scholarship Funds

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Radcliffe's Student Government Association voted yesterday to seek Administration approval for the establishment of a scholarship fund for foreign students.

According to the SGA proposal, each Radcliffe student would be assessed $2. It was suggested that the amount be added either to the compulsory Student Government dues or to the term bill.

The scholarship fund is intended to provide full tuition at Radcliffe for two foreign students each year, with room and board provided by the College. Karen A. Goukassow '57, SGA president, said that the plan, which must be approved by two-thirds of the student body as well as the Administration, might be put into effect next fall.
