Benjamin H. Heckscher '57 of Winthrop House and Devon, Pa., and Robert Gilmor Jr. '57 of Adams House and New York City were elected captains of next year's squash and wrestling teams respectively.
Heckscher has played at the number one position on the varsity during the past two seasons. This year he was the intercollegiate champion, going undefeated in college competition. In outside tournaments, he lost only to G. Diehl Mateer, Jr., Henri Salaun, and Azam Khan--three of the top players in the world. He has won the University championship for the past two years, finishing second in his freshman year.
Gilmor has wrestled on the varsity for the last two years in the 167 lb. class. Before that, he was on the '57 freshman team which went undefeated. Gilmor had one of the best records on the team this year, with 5 wins, three losses, and one tie.
