The Freshman hockey team will wind up its season today against Yale in what promises to be a tight contest. Yale defeated Providence on Wednesday, the only team that has beaten the Yardlings this season.
The Freshmen will enter the rink tomorrow boasting a 19-1 record. They suffered their only defeat when Providence outskated them 4-2 to break a 15-game winning streak. Although the Elis' record is not as impressive, they were able to down Providence last week, 8 to 7.
Coach John White will probably start Captain George Higginbottom, Dick Reilly and Bill Collins as forwards, Maurice Balboni and Dick McLaughlin at defense, and either Dick Cleary or Harry Pratt in the goal. The Yardlings will have to combat a particularly fast Eli first line that led the Blue to their victory over Providence.
The J.V. Hockey team will also play Yale tomorrow, following the freshman game, at 4:30.
