Cohen, Relay Team Enter Millrose Meet

For the first time in many years the Crimson track team has entered New York's Millrose Games, and tonight the mile relay team of Al Cairns, French Anderson, Al Wills, and Dick Wharton will try for the John G. Anderson Trophy for the fastest college relay of the meet.

The only other member of the team to enter the meet is Joel Cohen, who will compete in the high hurdles. Meanwhile in Cambridge, the remaining members of the team will have a practice meet against Providence College.

Varsity Seeded

The varsity has been seeded into the final and fastest heat of the mile relay, against defending champion Morgan State, Villanova, and Manhattan. Villanova has recorded the fastest time of the season, and must be favored. Morgan State set a meet record of 3:18.3 last year, and although the Crimson's time of 3:22.2 is the second best of the season, the varsity has only an outside chance at the trophy.

The freshman team is heavily favored to defeat Exeter here, and avenge last year's 54-36 defeat at the hands of the Exonians. Many members of last year's Exeter squad have moved to Cambridge.
