Resorts Say "Good-Excellent" Snow Conditions for Weekend

Excellent snow conditions in northern New England stand ready to lure University skiers from their newly selected courses.

Hardly any New England resort reported less than "excellent" surface conditions as slight increases fell all over the area last night.

Stowe, Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak report excellent; Manchester's Big Bromley the same; Franconia, Cannon Mt., good to excellent; Mittersill, excellent. North Conway reports good and Middlebury excellent.
