Fencing Squad Meets Favored Bruin Team

The varsity fencers this afternoon face one of the strongest teams that Penn has fielded in several years in the Blockhouse.

The Crimson should win the foil and four or five sabre matches, but the usual weak epee performance would make a victory impossible.

Coach Eno Marion has persuaded Doug Fitchen, a successful epee fencer last year, to rejoin the varsity in an attempt to salvage a few points in this division. However unless Fitchen can inspire the epee team to four wins the Crimson has little hope regardless of success in the sabre and foil.
