Ski Team Eighth

Dartmouth captured the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association crown yesterday by defeating host Middlebury, champions for the past five years, by less than a point.

The Crimson skiers finished eighth behind New Hampshire, Vermont, Nor-wich, St. Lawrence, and Williams. The varsity was able to regain eighth place, lost Saturday, and Eastern "A" division standing because of the jumping of Joe Poindexter, Jack Vohr, and Pete Churchill. Syracuse finished ninth, and M.I.T., failing to win a single point Sunday, tenth.
