The varsity ski team left for Middlebury, Vt., yesterday to enter the Championships of the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association at the twenty-fifth Annual Middlebury Carnival.
The Crimson will face ten other teams, seven of which were in the E.I.S.A. "A" division with the Crimson. Additional opposition will come from M.I.T., which finished first in the Eastern "B" division, Cornell, which finished first in the Western "B" division, and McGill, which was the top Canadian team.
The five winning teams at the Carnival will receive N.C.A.A. tourney bids and will go west later in the season, while the top eight teams will comprise next year's "A" division. Coach Don Kennedy hopes to keep the Crimson in the top eight.
