With the foil, sabre and the epee teams each building up early leads, the varsity was never in trouble. Bill Pierskalla and Doug Runnels won all three of their matches in the epee and sabre divisions respectively.
Hubert Hocutt and Cliff Thompson took their two matches in the foil division. Dave Silbert and Art Steinberg won two out of three and lost closely in their other contests.
Saturday the varsity faces a strong Cornell team in Ithaca.
