The varsity rifle team defeated Yale by one point on Saturday to win the Ivy League Rifle Championship. The Crimson scored 1400 points in the tournament, closely followed by Yale with 1399 and Dartmouth with 1390.
John Hessel, Nat Geary, John Leness, Richard Lipman, and John Liebskin shot for the varsity in the all-day tournament, the first of its kind ever conducted.
Next week, the Crimson will face the Coast Guard, a team that is currently in first place in the New England College Rifle League.
