Larry Sears, Charlie MacVeagh, and Henry Cortesi each won a close 3-2 match last night to help give the Crimson squash team a 7-2 victory over Princeton. A loss of just a few points in these matches could have resulted in a complete reversal of their scores, giving Princeton a 5-4 win.
At first and second singles, however, Ben Heckscher and Cal Place won easily over Ken Van Riper and Jerry Evans, 3 to 0. Lee Folger and Dwight Davis each took 3-1 decisions at fifth and ninth singles respectively.
Captain Pete Milton lost in five games in the third spot, and Martin Heckscher bowed in four at number six, for the two Crimson defeats.
