Federalists to Offer Course in Esperanto

A five-lesson course in Esperanto, the "international language," will begin on Thursday under the sponsorship of the World Federalists. The first meeting will be held at 8 p.m. in Phillips Brooks House.

Classes will be conducted without charge by Graham E. Fuller and Robert Ahlberg '35, who has taught in the Navy and at several colleges.

"Although Esperanto is extremely easy to learn, Fuller believes, "You don't hear very much about the tongue here--mainly because the United States is less language conscious than Europe."

Fuller will display several books and some of the 12 monthly magazines published in Esperanto at the first class. Textbooks will be suggested for the course, but not mandatory.
