Geary Is Appointed Assistant Professor

Edward J. Geary, instructor in Romance Languages, his been raised in rank to assistant professor, effective July 1. He will serve as co-ordinator of instruction in Romance Languages for students at the College and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Previous to joining the University staff in 1953, Geary taught at the University of Maine and at Columbia. He has edited a critical edition of one of the recently-discovered Diderot manuscripts.
