Last night, in its first game of the season, the Harvard J.V. basketball team defeated the Cambridge YMCA team, 87-70. Behind during most of the first half, the Crimson fought back to lead 33-32 at half-time.
High scorers Arnie Singal, Bob Repetto, and Jim Smith helped the team put on the pressure to increase its lead in the third quarter, and turn the game into a one-sided affair.
The next game for the J.V.'s will take place next Friday, against the destroyer U.S.S. Myles C. Fox, at 7:30 p.m., in the I.A.B.
