Captain Ted Metropoulos was the only Crimson varsity football player named to the All-Ivy team selected Saturday by the Ivy League coaches.
Yale end Paul Lopata was unanimously placed on the team and three other members of the Ivy championship eleven were also chosen. Eli captain John Owseichik, all-Ivy center last year, was selected, along with Metropoulos, for the guard spot.
Metropoulos was also named to Cornell coach Lefty James's all-opponent team. Princeton coach Charlie Caldwell, did not place any Crimson players on his all-opponent squad.
