Fire Strikes in Lab

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A small fire in a wooden shed adjacent to Jefferson Physics Laboratory Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. caused an undetermined amount of damage, Norman F. Ramsey, professor of Physics, revealed last night.

The blaze, which occurred in Ramsey's molecular beam laboratory, started when a small welding generator overheated in "the normal course of operation." Ramsey has borrowed another generator, and expects no interruption in his work.
