Varsity football captain Ted Metropoulos gained a position on the United Press All-New England second team yesterday, but he was the only Crimson player to receive the honor. Junior back Walt Stahura and sophomore tackle Bob Shaunessy got honorable mention.

The first team was dominated by Yale players, with Captain Mike Owseichik, end Paul Lopata, and half-back Dennis McGill all being named to the top eleven. Tackle George Kurker of Tufts, center Bob Adelizzi of Dartmouth, and tackle Gil Robertshaw of Brown were also placed on the first team.
