Lowell Beats Eliot

Lowell House climbed to within one point of first place Winthrop in the intramural soccer league yesterday by defeating a stubborn Eliot House eleven 1 to 0. Winthrop House, fighting to maintain its small lead, soundly defeated Dudly 5 to 0.

The Lowell-Eliot game's single tally was made by Downey Green, right wing, on a pass from Albert Lanb, left inside. Lowell House, up until two days ago, was in a tie for third place. Yesterday's win was their second consecutive victory. The Crimson forwards, however, fell through on many scoring chances.
