A strong freshman soccer team captured its fifth win in seven starts yesterday afternoon against Milton Academy, 1 to 0. The single score of the game was made by John Mudd, inside left, in the second five minute overtime period.
The Yardlings dominated play throughout most of the game and some strong defensive work by William Rapp, center half, helped the freshman to keep the ball in Milton territory about forty minutes of the sixty minutes of regular play.
The freshman soccer team has three more games to play to complete this year's season. Tabor, Brown and Yale are the teams rounding out this schedule. Tabor is one of the best private school teams in the East, while Brown and Yale are reported to have strong elevens.
