Marquette Prohibits Kissing on Campus

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Marquette University, in Milwaukee, has ordered a crackdown on girls who "kiss goodnight in front of dormitories."

A university rule which prohibits "public display of affection" was ordered to be strictly enforced after the neighbors complained. Girls who break the rules will be "campused" for a week.

Marquette men reportedly were disgusted with the ruling, many of them asking whether they were expected to "become a bunch of angels."

One girl has already been campused for "forgetting myself for a moment." But another commented, "I don't care. My date has a car."
