Glenn M. Irvine '58, of Dunster House and Brecksville, Mass., was named undergraduate manager of football for 1957 on Monday. Irvine was varsity manager this year.
In the cross-country managerial competition, Louis J. Elsas II '58, of Dunster House and Atlanta, Georgia, was chosen next year's varsity manager.
Three sophomores earned lower football posts. F. Warren McFarlan '59, of Leverett House and Chestnut Hill, Mass., was selected varsity manager; Charles Kennell '59, of Leverett House and Newton, Mass., was made manager of the JV team; and William Dockser '59, of Eliot House and Newton, Mass., was appointed freshman manager.
Six freshmen won their numerals in the football competition: John Barber '60, Andrew Harris '60, Ernest Habicht '60, Bruce Rosenberg '60, Jack Reardon '60, and Stanley Scheff '60.
Wesley Walton '59 was named manager of next year's freshman cross country team.
Richard W. Sayre '57, manager of this year's soccer varsity, reported that a soccer manager will be selected soon.
