Harvard is one of 16 colleges and universities which the National Science Foundation has awarded with more than four million dollars for individualized training of high school science and mathematics teachers to strengthen secondary school science programs.

The $4,065,000 program will begin in September 1957 with approximately 750 teachers following the special courses of study.
