Winthrop Ahead in Touch, Soccer; Kirkland Leads in House Football

The Winthrop Puritans stand in first place in two house leagues, with a five won, two tied record in soccer and four straight wins in touch football. The Kirkland Deacons took undisputed possession of first place in football with a 12-6 victory over Dunster yesterday.

This win put Kirkland ahead with three wins, no losses and one tie, while idle Leverett dropped to second with two wins, no losses and one tie. Eliot, Winthrop, and Adams are tied for third.

In house soccer yesterday, Dunster swamped Dudley, 7-0 and Adams beat Leverett, 1-0. Lowell stands in second place, close behind the Puritans, with a 5-1-1 record. Kirkland and Dunster are in third and the Gold Coasters and Elephants are tied for fifth.

Winthrop's 24-6 victory over the Bell-boys in touch yesterday, displaced Kirkland land to second place.
