Zamecnik Appointed; Heads Cancer Study

Dr. Paul C. Zamecnik has been appointed Collis P. Huntington Professor of Oncologic Medicine and Director of the J. Collins Warren Laboratories of the Huntington Memorial Hospital at the Massachusetts General Hospital, it was announced yesterday.

Oncologic medicine is concerned with the differences between normal and abnormal or cancerous cell growth.

Dr. Zamecnik will also serve as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Departments of Medicine.
