Despite statistics which show Tufts gained 356 yards rushing last Saturday, varsity football coach Lloyd Jordan said yesterday he will still split practice time equally between running and passing defensive drills this week.
In yesterday's scrimmages, the J.V.s mixed up Tufts' running and passing plays against the varsity defense while the Crimson offense ran against the freshmen for the first time.
Jordan also commented that end Tom Hooper should be ready by Saturday. Meanwhile Jack Evjy filled in for Hooper who had a light workout despite his pulled leg muscle.
